Are the high ticket prices a deterrent for you to go to concerts? Getting cheaper seats? Being more selective?

Unless it is one of my favorite artist or bands, I am being more selective. I'm going to the show that I really want and using some of the money of the ones I'm skipping to try and get a better seat. It's unfortuante, but that's where the industry is. I also, think that bands on their final tour., take away from the other bands coming around as well. Tough environment to be a fan or a band now.

Heck...I'm having troubles with inflation but trying to go to a concert is last on my priorities and I myself play drums for Linwood Strange. I would never pay 2500.00 for any concert even if it came with backstage passes for Radiohead but Taylor Swift?? Nah!

Inflation is part of it, the problem is there are those who pay so it makes it harder for the everyday can who can't. When you add all the fees, then parking etc it makes it as a deterrent than anything else

Agree that inflation is part of it. I, think more so people paying the prices make it harder for others. Good for them that they can frop $500 to sit in the boonies. Unfortunately, I think it's a deteramt for new fans to come to the band. They aren't going to pay those prices and eventually be just a casual fan.
