I think rock stars have lost that mysterious aura about them since social media has becime such a large aspect of our lives. Rock stars were intriguing and other worldly. Social media, I feel has made them seem more in line with the rest of us. You get a peak behind the curtain and sometimes you may get more than you bargained for. There is a discussion if it's good or bad and I lean on the side that it's not so good. I want to be in that awe spectrum when I think of them. I don't want to know about the fights within the band or what they think politically, etc. I want to live in my rose tinted glass world and that everything is as it should be. Put out the music and be a rock star, that's all I want. Simple as that.

Has social media ruined the mystique and awe of rock stars, that we once had for them?
