68-75, Paul McCartney, A New Supergroup And Black Label Society
Paul McCartney released a new song called Early Days, off his current album New. It’s pretty reflective. He has a verse that kind of sums it up, I think; “Now everybody seems to have their own opinion, Of who did this and who did that, But as for me I don’t see how they can remember, When they weren’t where it was at.” That is a pretty deep lyric and quite revealing. At least I think so, especially when you see it in the context of the whole song. You can watch it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QvBVIA_ZaNg
In case you missed it, The Scorpions aren’t calling it quits as their 3 year farewell tour indicated. As per usual, they sell out everywhere because fans believe it’s over. Then they don’t. Expect new music and another tour. Let’s see if Motley Crue can keep their word. At least they got lawyers involved and if they do get back together they will lose a boat load of money. Time will tell.
The Black Veil Brides have joined in a Pledgemusic campaign for their new album. Seems to be the trend as of late. You can help them out here: http://www.pledgemusic.com/projects/blackveilbrides

A new group called Royal Blood has a new self titled debut album out now. But they just released a new video for the song called Figure It Out. Trust me when I tell you there is a lot to figure out in this video and it’s kind of a cool video, the girl has some skills as you will see when you watch this video. Let me know what you think of them. The album comes out August 18, and yeah the music is good. Check it out here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jhgVu2lsi_k

A new supergroup out this week. You didn’t think you’d go too long without one of these did you? This one features Rikki Rockett (Poison), Traci Guns (L.A. Guns), Eric Brittingham and Brandon Gibbs (Cheap Thrill). The name of the band is Devil City Angels. They’re kind of a 90’s Aerosmith feel about them, I don’t mind it.
