Alice Cooper Releases A Cover Of Velvet Underground’s “Rock ‘N’ Roll”!

Alice Cooper has a new album coming out on February 26th titled “Detroit Stories”. You can pre-order it here. Once again Cooper teamed up with Producer Bob Ezrin for this album. The combo of Cooper and Ezrin is a lethal one and one I enjoy. Rock ‘N’ Roll was originally recorded by the Velvet Underground back in 1970 on their “Loaded” LP.  If you are familiar with the original, Cooper changed New Your Station lyric to Detroit Station. The song is amped up versus the original and to me better. Obviously, Cooper’s voice is what it is and gives the track his attitude. But the sound is heavier, the solo is raunchier and well the whole tune is just better. There is no video, just a stream of the song. Check it out below.
