B.P.M.D. Release A Heavy Version Of Grand Funk Railroad’s “We’re An American Band&

B.P.M.D. other wise known as Bobby Blitz (Overkill) on vocals, Mark Menghi (Metal Allegiance) on bass, Phil Demmel (Vio-lence,Machine Head) on guitar and Mike Portnoy (The Winery Dogs, Dream Theater, etc) has released a new single from their current covers album “American Made”. The band has released their version of Grand Funk Railroad’s We’re An American Band. This is much heavier than the original and the Demmel shreds a bit in the slo. Blitz gives shout out to Kerry King of Slayer in it as well. Overall I like this version.

The video is a animated one and interestingly done. You also see the lyric scroll as well. I think you will enjoy it as the animation plays out the story of the sing. You can check it out below.
