Five Finger Death Punch Release “Far From Home” Lyric Video!
Five Finger Death Punch has released a lyric video of their song Far From Home which appeared on their 2009 album “War Is The Answer”. You can order a copy here. I’m not sure why they went to this song from their second album to be released today. In any event, this is a great tune. Depending on who you listen too the song is taken from a soldier’s perspective, some say it’s about PTSD other wise known as Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. Others thing it’s reflective type of song, etc. You can decide on your own if it does or doesn’t deal with a soldier, but keep in mind the album’s title.
The music is outstanding, Ivan Moody’s vocals are full of emotion and compassion. All I can say is it’s eargasmic the way he delivers it. The heavy rhythm truly sets the stage of the bringing the words into perspective. The guitar solo seems to perfect for the track. It echos the feelings in Moody’s voice. It’s nice to get a lyric video but again, why now and not then. There is some imagery behind he lyrics in a blurred way, looks a bomber plane maybe to tie into the lines where they use the word heaven. The good thing here is that we get to hear a song that some may have forgotten about. You can check out the video and song below.
