Green Day Release New Optimistic Single “Pollyanna”!
Green Day has released a stand alone single Pollyanna. The song has a commercial appeal to it, but still true to who they are. I will admit it falls more on the bland side of their style. The song inspires hope and a uplifting spirit for what we have been gone through with the pandemic. Lyrics such as these;
“Don’t let em get you down Don’t let em push you around We’re gonna take back the night Everything’s gonna be alright”
Gives one hope and makes one feel good, you know it’s going be alright. Maybe its the message we need to hear right now. The song will grow on you the more you play it. The video looks like it was shot on a smart phone with the people living life along with the lyrics. Check it out below.
