Greta Van Fleet Releases “Watching Over” And Its Just Fantastic!
Greta Van Fleet will be releasing their debut album October 19th called “Anthem Of The Peaceful Army”. You can pre order it here. The second single from their debut is Watching Over. First thing is, its tome time to forget about the Led Zeppelin comparisons. This song doesn’t even resemble a Zep tune. This track stands on its own. It starts off low and then kicks it into high gear. Singer Josh Kiszka is amazing on this one, you will hear what I’m saying rather quickly, just wow. Like I have said many times the musicianship from these guys are outstanding. The lyrics could be interpreted in many ways, from religion or even Big Brother, etc. Here is the opening verse:
“Many long years amongst the trees Many long years in the ground To be with one that’s never seen The one that stands and watches over”
You can think about what it means to you. Sometimes I rather have just a track streaming then an actual video because I want to internet it for myself first. I stand by what I have said before, this band is here to save Rock n’ Roll. Listen to Watching Over below.
