Guns N’ Roses Releases New Single “Absurd”!
Guns N’ Roses has released a new single Absurd. No word on and when a new album will be released yet. But we get a taste of it with this single. Some history of the song is that it was originally called Silkworms and was recorded during the “Chinese Democracy” album period. I’m surprised that Slash and Duff McKagan decided to take on a song that they weren’t a part of initially. Good for them to be open like that. I was hoping for something based on the three of them making something new.
That aside, I guess we are on our way to a new album. The only thing I like about this song is Slash’s guitar work. The song seems to be punk like in style. I’m thinking these three haven’t put out anything in 30 years and they give us this. In my opinion it’s crap. I hope the rest of the album is better than this. The video with the Medusa doesn’t do anything for the song but I guess it fits the title. You can check it out below.
