Last week’s Rockucation question was: This guitarist played on Alice Cooper’s Billion Dollar Babies, Lou Reed’s Berlin, Aerosmith’s Get Your Wings, and Peter Gabriel’s solo debut, Peter Gabriel, just to name a few. Who is he? No one got this but some of you were close. The answer is Steven Hunter. But I will say Bryan Kuntz from Chaska, MN, gave me Dick Wagner which is also correct, I should have realized that they were paired up quite often, I missed that. So we are both right!

Sister Sin has released a new song off their album, Black Lotus. The song is called Desert Queen. Watch it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=90N5vioZFjc

Apparently The World Health Organization states that a loud concert at 120 decibels is only safe for 28 seconds before hearing loss begins. Keep in mind that most concerts aren’t played at the level. But, I’m a loud and proud type of a guy. I have seen hundreds of concerts, shows etc and I think I hear pretty good. You can buy ear plugs for the shows you go to, but I prefer to be totally free of anything hindering my musical experience.

Grateful Dead fans are upset, as they should be, about the three night stand in Chicago this July as the only performance for the band’s 50th anniversary. That and the fact that the ticket prices are sky high. Those fans have made a petition to ask the band for more shows. You can sign up here: https://www.change.org/p/the-grateful-dead-perform-3-more-3-night-runs-on-the-east-and-west-coasts?recruiter=44178418&utm_source=share_petition&utm_medium=facebook&utm_campaign=autopublish&utm_term=des-lg-share_petition-reason_msg

But don’t fret, Dead Heads. If you can’t make that show, maybe you can make this tribute to Jerry Garcia. Get all the details and info here: https://www.ticketfly.com/purchase/event/803283?utm_medium=bks

Many of you aren’t country music fans, and I get that. But you may want to start paying attention to the Zac Brown Band. Why, you ask? Because last year they worked with David Grohl and this year they are working with Chris Cornell. Who knows who will join them? And for the record, Brown plays a mean guitar.
