Jimi Hendrix Releases “Ezy Ryder” Live And It Will Blow You Away!

Jimi Hendrix has a new box set coming out this Friday, November 22nd, titled “Songs For Groovy Children: The Fillmore East Concerts”. You can pre-order it here. The box set features never before released and unedited cuts of songs. One of which is the new release Ezy Ryder. This one is from the New Year’s Eve Live At The Fillmore East, NY, 12/31/69. He recorded this with The Band Of Gypsy’s which featured Buddy Miles on drums and Billy Cox on bass. To me this is epic, and fantastic at the same time. The raw energy is captivating. If this doesn’t knock you over, I feel badly for you, this is just magic. I’ll leave it at that. You can judge for yourself. There is no video but a streaming of the audio. Check it out below.
