Manowar are in the studio recording a new album. You remember them, right? Death to false metal and all of that? Well, it’s not really new, they are remaking the albu,m Kings Of Metal (2014). This will be the record’s 25th anniversary and they will be doing lots of special things for it. So be on the look out!
According to Rob Zombie, there will never be a White Zombie reunion because if he did it, it would only be for the money?
Speaking of remembering, hopefully you never forget about Saigon Kick. But, Jason Bieler (guitar and vocals) has released an album (not in stores but in Sound Cloud, under the name Owl Stretching and the album Keep Calm And Carry On). Motorhead is still dealing with Lemmy’s health issues. They cut their set short at the Wacken Open Air Festival in Germany. After about 30 minutes, Lemmy couldn’t handle the heat and couldn’t finish the set. He is doing much better but is still battling issues with his health.
Keep an eye out for Dee Snider’s Christmas show to be in an Off Broadway venue. Once I hear dates etc., I will let you all know but since it’s a slow week of news, I thought I would throw that out there.

Last week’s Rockucation question was: What do the following albums have in common: The Doobie Brothers, Toulouse Street; Montrose, Montrose; Van Morrisson, It’s Too Late To Stop Now; Van Halen, Van Halen; and Aerosmith, Done With Mirrors. The answer came from Kamran Khan of Seekonk, MA. These albums were all produced by Ted Templeman.
Richie Sambora released a new track from his solo album, Aftermath Of The Lowdown. There is some controversy since he has been out of the band and that the lyrics here are taking a shot at the beloved Bon Jovi. The song is Come Back As Me. The lyrics that people are referring to are: “What do you want me to say, I gave you everything I could give. But everything just wasn’t enough, so I just let live and live.” The video is here, what do you think? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5lmYXmUtxes
Last week I mentioned that David Draiman of Disturbed took Roger Waters to task about the pigs he used during his live tour of the wall on the song In The Flesh, where there was Star Of David on them. Roger Waters responded that he is not an open hater of Jews. Now Waters has long been very vocal about Israel’s occupation of the West Bank and Gaza and is asking for a boycott on Israel. He states he isn’t anti-semitic and that his daughter in law is Jewish. The Star Of David is an associated symbol of Israel and he can’t do anything to change that. It will be interesting to see how this continues to play out. But now you have more of the story.
Nikki Sixx of Motley Crue has teamed up with BluBlocker Sunglasses and has come out with his own line of sunglasses. You can get them for $50. You can see them here: http://www.blublocker.com/collections/aviators

The Rockstar Energy Drink Uproar Festival is offering tickets for $10 and $20 per seat. This show includes Jane’s Addiction and Alice In Chains. Tickets are definitely worth those prices, it’s almost a sin for the dollar amount. You can check out dates here: http://www.rockstaruproar.com
In case you care department: Mike Portnoy said he would go back to Dream Theater in a heartbeat but it seems like the band closed the door on that option. Stay tuned for the time he comes back to the band.
Ghost is looking into pulling a KISS like event with unmasking themselves in the near future. Why you ask? Because they can’t hide their identities forever.
