Liam Gallagher Releases “The River”, A New Anthem For A Generation!
Liam Gallagher has a new solo album titled “Why Me? Why Not?”. Due out on September 20th, you can pre-order it here. The River, his latest single is not a cover of Bruce Springsteen, it’s actually much better. The song is a call to action, challenging those in charge. His chorus tells it all;
“You gotta scream and shout If you’re gonna work this out Change comes when the water falls I’ve been waiting so long for you down by the river”
If you want change you gotta make it happen. Pretty simple if you think about it. The song is driven by the drums and the guitar is kind of edgy with power chords with a driving bass line. This is very catchy tune and you will to play it over and over. Gallagher’s voice has such an anger in it that it makes you feel more of his passion in what he is telling you. This is one album I’m looking forward too. The video shows a man walking the streets and I’ll leave it at that. It really doesn’t help enhance the song. Check it out below.
