SRR & Corners Of Sanctuary Announcement I have been appointed as the Artist Development Rep for the band Corners of Sanctuary. I have been a fan of them for awhile now. You have seen their videos here and have interviewed them in the past. I am excited by this opportunity. You can read the press release here.

AC/DC AC/DC has confirmed that Axl Rose of Guns N’ Roses will be replacing Brian Johnson for the rest of the Rock Or Bust tour. Let’s see how ticket sales reflect their decision.

Rob Zombie released their new single, Get High, from their forthcoming album, The Electric Warlock Acid Witch Satanic Orgy Celebration Dispenser. Out on April 29. You can watch the video here.

SRR Quick Hits

Just because this is funny, meaning that someone actually took the time to do a study on why Nickelback is hated. Read it here.

Rumor has it that the promoter of Coachella is putting together a major show featuring The Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney, Neil Young, Bob Dylan, Roger Waters and The Who. It’s supposedly slated for October 7-9. It’s being noted for these acts being on the same bill (Be it not on all the same night), and all being Hall Of Famers. It is to happen in Empire Polo Field in Indio, Ca. Keep an eye out this week in case the actually announce.

Several rock stars had issues this week. Paul Stanley (KISS), tore a tendon and requires surgery. But will be healed for the tour. Dusty Hill has injured his shoulder and ZZ Top had to delay the tour dates. Ace Frehley (KISS) was checked into the hospital for dehydration and exhaustion.

I recommend you visit your local record stores to pick up any leftover deals from yesterday’s Record Store Day events.

David Coverdale (Whitesnake), is thinking he is going to retire in 2017.
