Cilver- I’m America
I came across this song this week and I really got into it. Very anthemic. I remember that Cilver did a song with Bumblefoot, but they fell off my radar. But this song is making me a bigger fan and I am looking forward to their new album, Not The End Of The World. It comes out on April 29. Let me know what you think. Prince Prince passed away this week at the age of 57. Another legend taken away from us this year. Prince was all about integrity, he fought the labels and the industry to take what was rightfully his. He was highly influential and a great guitar player. He will definitely be missed. RIP, Prince!
Lonnie Mack Blues legend Lonnie Mack passed away at the age of 74. He was a huge influence to many, including Keith Richards and Stevie Ray Vaughan. RIP, Lonnie!

SRR Quick Hits
Nikki Sixx (Motley Crue) came after John Corabi this week about the band’s album with him. Sixx was claiming it was a difficult time for him (the rest of the band, Tommy Lee and Mick Mars , think it’s some of their best work), and very unfocused, etc. Sixx was trying to explain the poor response to it, etc. On the other hand, John Corabi took the nicer approach and didn’t get into it or fall for it or what have you, just saying he appreciated his time in the Crue.
Brian Johnson commented on his AC/DC situation saying how much he regrets it, but he can’t play live right now, however he can still record. He is very upset that he has disappointed so many fans, but he is working on a way to hopefully be able to play live again. He plans to still make records.
MTV announced that they will be going back to a more music based format versus the reality shows they are doing. They are resurrecting the Unplugged series by the end of this year.
Paul Simon has said there would be no Simon & Garfunkel reunion.
