Metallica Metallica have teamed up with Pandora to stream their concert (on August 20th) for the opening game of the Minnesota Vikings at their brand new U.S. Bank stadium. In case you don’t have Pandora, they have given you other alternatives to listen to the show. Get them here.

Geoff Tate’s Operation Mind Crime released another track this week called The Fight. It’s from their soon to be released album, Resurrection, out on September 23. Listen to it here.

Opeth Opeth have a new album called Sorceress. It’s out September 30, but they have started a studio web series for the making of it. You can check out the third episode here.

Green Day Green Day released a new lyric video this week called Bang Bang. It’s from their soon to be released album, Revolution Radio, out on October 7. You can check it out here.

Bon Jovi Bon Jovi released their new song and video this week for the title track of their new album, This House Isn’t For Sale. The album comes out October 21. You can watch the video here.

The Pretty Reckless The Pretty Reckless have announced North American tour dates. You can get them here.

Zen From Mars New supergroup, Zen From Mars, featuring members from Flipp, Fear Factory, Enuff Z’nuff and Bang Tango, among others, released their debut single this week, New Leaf. No word on an album yet. Watch the video here.

Michael Sweet Andy Black (Black Veil Brides) has released a video for his new song called Ribcage, taken from his recent solo album release, The Shadow Side. You can check out the video here.

Dio Dio was resurrected at Germany’s Wacken Festival. He appeared as a hologram with the live band. It’s a pretty cool thing to see. You can watch the video for We Rock, here.

Dokken The Dokken reunion has announced a one off show in the U.S. before they do their 6 date tour of Japan. It will September 30, in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The venue is Badlands Pawn. You can get the details here.

The Apocalypse Blues Band If you like the Blues and like a new band to get into, then The Apocalypse Blues Band is for you. Check out their debut single, The Devil Plays a Strat, and pay attention to the guitar. The band consists of members of Staind, and it’s their side project. But the self titled debut comes out on August 26 and I can’t wait to dig into that. Listen to the song here.

Led Zeppelin The new Led Zeppelin new box set, The Complete BBC Sessions, has a new trailer for it. It comes out on September 16. You can watch the trailer here.

Sabaton Sabaton released a new lyric video this week called Shiroyama from their soon to be released album, The Last Stand, out on August 19. Watch it here.

Giraffe Tongue Orchestra Giraffe Tongue Orchestra, which features William DuVall from Alice In Chains, and members of Dillinger Escape Plan, Mastodon and Mars Volta, do I say another supergroup? Anyway, here is their new song, Crucifixion. The debut album, Broken Lines, will be out on September 23. Check it out the song here.

Sodom Sodom have a new video out for their new album coming out on August 26, titled Decision Day. The song is called, Caligula. Check it out here.

Ratt Bobby Blotzer’s Ratt Experience lost two members this week, Nicholas “Blaze” Baum and Robbie Crane. It didn’t take him long to replace them. He now has Todd Kerns from Slash, featuring Myles Kennedy And The Conspirators and Stacey Blades, formerly of LA Guns. Anyone beginning to think that Mr. Blotzer seems to have a people problem?

Lamb Of God Lamb Of God released a new song this week called Embers, from their current album, VII: Sturm Und Drang. Check it out here.

Joe Mansman And The Midnight Revival Band I came across this Blues/Rock band the other day and I really liked them. Thought you should check them out as well. Jimi Hendrix Jimi Hendrix And The Band Of Gypsy’s are releasing a new live package on September 20. It’s the debut of the Band Of Gypsys with him. It’s titled: Machine Gun: The Fillmore East First Show 12/31/69. You can hear the lead track, Power Of Soul, here.

Eric Clapton Eric Clapton has a new DVD coming out on September 30. He is calling it, Live In San Diego With Special Guest JJ Cale. You can see the track, Anyway The Wind Blows, here.

David Lee Roth David Lee Roth (Van Halen) this week does a cover on his Roth Show of Gerry Rafferty’s Baker Street. You can listen to it here. If you don’t want to hear Dave talk then go to the 25 minute mark and push play to hear the song.

He has had a heart attack and a blood clot has been found on his lung. Needless to say I am in bits but Pete is fighting like he always does. We are NOT going to lose another one. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers atm- Jenny Way. Thoughts and prayers for him. Fingers crossed.
