Megadeth Megadeth have released Post American World from their latest album, Dystopia. You can check out the video here.. They also announced North American dates with Amon Amarth, Suicidal Tendencies, Metal Church and Havok, starting September 20th. Get the dates here.


Led Zeppelin Led Zeppelin will be re-releasing The BBC Sessions as The Complete BBC Sessions on September 16. It will be remastered and will include the lost 1969 session. It will have detailed notes for all the BBC sessions. Looks like a worthy purchase to me.

Guns And Roses

In case you thought that the current reunion version of Guns And Roses would never play a song off of Chinese Democracy, well you were wrong. They played Catcher In The Rye during the second night in Foxboro, MA, Gillette Stadium.

Temple Of The Dog

Temple Of The Dog have announced a mini reunion tour. I hope they add more dates, but you can get the list of dates so far here. There are also rumors saying there might be some previously unreleased songs coming out soon.

Hatebreed, Devildriver And The Devil You Know

Hatebreed have announced tour dates with Devildriver and The Devil You Know. Get dates here.. They also released new video for their song, Something’s Off. It’s from their current album, Concrete Confessional. Check it out here.

Five FInger Death Punch

Five Finger Death Punch released another song from their current album, Got Your Six. This one is called I Apologize. You can watch it here.


Lacuna Coil Lacuna Coil released the title track of their new album, Delirium, out now. Check out the video here.


Michael Sweet Michael Sweet (Stryper) released a new solo song called Bizarre. His new album comes out August 26. It’s his 7th album and it’s titled One Sided War. Watch the video here.


Devildriver Devildriver released a new video this week for their song called My Night Sky. It’s from their current album, Trust No One. Check it out here.

Rainbow

Ritchie Blackmore said that Rainbow may do more dates and the material will be 90% Rainbow. I would be interested in seeing Blackmore one more time. Hopefully they do some stateside dates.

Tesla

Tesla will be releasing Mechanical Resonance Live. It’s the song by their studio album of the same name. But one catch – they released a new song for it, written and produced by Phil Collen of Def Leppard. The song is called Save That Goodness. Check it out here.

Lynyrd Skynyrd

Lynyrd Skynyrd had to put their tour on hold as founding member, guitarist Gary Rossington had to have heart surgery. They are rescheduling the next two weeks of dates. Watch their site for the new dates.

Twisted Sister

Twisted Sister released The Price from their latest DVD/CD, Metal Meltdown-Featuring Twisted Sister Live At The Hard Rock Casino, Las Vegas. Watch it here.

Steve Vai

Steve Vai announced Passion & Warfare North American tour dates. Get them here.

Mudcrutch

Mudcrutch released a new video for their song, I Forgive It All. It’s from their current album, Mudcrutch 2. It features actor Anthony Hopkins. You can watch it here.

Korn released a new video called Rotting In Vain from their soon to be released album, The Serenity Of Suffering, out on October 21. Check it out here.

Mick Fleetwood (Fleetwood Mac) has announced dates for his side project, Mick Fleetwood Blues Band. You can get dates here.

Oasis

Oasis is re-releasing a remastered version of Be Here Now, out on October 7. They put out a pre-order clip on their Facebook page. You can check it out here.

Star Blazers

Ian Hunter

Ian Hunter (Mott The Hoople), has released a new song called Dandy. It’s from his forthcoming album, Fingers Crossed, out on September 16. Give the track a listen here.

The Beatles

The Beatles will be re-releasing on September 9th, The Beatles: Live At The Hollywood Bowl. It will feature unheard recordings. This will tie into the Ron Howard Film, The Beatles: Eight Days A Week-The Touring Years which will come out a week later on September 15.

The Blue Pills

The Blue Pills released another track from their current album, Lady In Gold. You can check out the song, Little Boy Preacher here.

Cruzh

Cruzh released another song from their self titled debut, Cruzh. The track is called, Aim For The Head. Listen to it here.

Blackstone Cherry

Black Stone Cherry released a video for their ballad, The Rambler, that stars Billy Ray Cyrus. It’s from their current album, Kentucky. Watch it here..

SRR Non Music News Quick Hits

Kiss has a new comic book series debuting this October, simply titled Kiss. It will be put out by Dynamite Entertainment. Learn more about it here.

Maynard James Keenan of Tool announced his book tour dates for his autobiography, A Perfect Union Of Certain Things, on their Facebook page. You can get them here.

Slayer is also coming out with a comic book later this year. They have teamed up with Dark Horse and it’s based on their Repentless videos. The first issue comes out later this year, called Slayer: Repentless Vol. 1. You can learn more about it here.

Animated movie, The Realm Of The Damned, features the voices of David Vincent (Morbid Angel, Jill Janus (Huntress) and Dani Filth (Cradle Of FIlth). No release date yet, but you can watch the trailer here.
