Rob Zombie- The Life And Times Of A Teenage Rock God!


I’ll admit I’m not a huge fan of Rob Zombie, but he did a great job with this video and I think it’s worth you checking out. It’s from his current album, The Electric Warlock Acid Witch Satanic Orgy Celebration Dispenser. Somebody might want to talk to him about long song and album titles. Anyway, let me know what you think of the video.

Music News

Paul McCartney Paul McCartney released another video in his VR series and this week it’s titled the Dance Tonight. Check it out here.

De La Torre Desmond Child, you may or may not know him, has written hits with the likes of Bon Jovi, Aerosmith, Alice Cooper and Kiss, among others. He is now pushing a new band called De La Torre that he is personally working with. They have a new song called Ruins. You can check them out here.

Nonpoint

Nonpoint released the official lyric video for their song, Generation Idiot. It’s from their forthcoming album, The Poison Red. No date yet for the album. Check out the video here.

Crucified Barbara

Crucified Barbara have called it quits, saying they no longer enjoy what they do.

Heart

Heart released a new lyric video for their title track, which actually kicks some rocking ass. As a bonus you get James Hetfield from Metallica. The song is called Beautiful Broken and it’s from their forthcoming album by the same name. It comes out July 8. Check it out here.

Ghost

Ghost announced the Popestar U.S. tour. It starts in September. Get those dates here.

PSA Your PSA this week is I don’t care about Billy Talent and what he does, but you can look on your own.

Helix

Helix put out a new song this week called Gene Simmons Says Rock Is Dead. I think you will enjoy it. You can watch it here.

Flipp Legendary Minneapolis Glam Punks Flipp are having a reunion show. Billed as the Return Of The Flipp. The show is July 1, 2016. It will be held at First Ave in their hometown of Minneapolis. Flipp has also teamed up with Rock Steady Records to release a live concert DVD that fans have been asking for. The DVD is the full show from July 22, 1995. It features unreleased songs. It’s a limited edition DVD and will be exclusively available at the Return Of The Flipp show.. This limited pressing has only 200 copies. They will be releasing other archived videos over time. But once these are gone, that’s it they are gone. If you go to both Rock Steady Records and Flipp’s Facebook page and give them a “like”, you will get updates. Do yourself a favor and do that now. Watch the trailer here.

Gojira

Gojira released a new song this week called The Shooting Star. It’s from their forthcoming album, Magma, out this past Friday. Check it out here.

Henry McCullough

In sad news this week, Henry McCullough passed this week at the age of 72. He was a member of Spooky Tooth and, of course, Paul McCartney & Wings. He also played with Joe Cocker. He played guitar. He had a heart condition. RIP, Henry!

Opeth

Opeth released a teaser of their forthcoming album, Sorceress, via their Facebook page, out sometime this fall. Watch it here.

Clutch

Clutch have announced tour dates with Zakk Sabbath, the Black Sabbath tribute band that features, Zakk Wylde (Ozzy, Black Label Society) on guitar, Joey Castillo (Danzig, Queens Of The Stone Age) on Drums, and Rob “Blasko” Nicholson (Ozzy, Rob Zombie) on Bass. Get dates here.

Skeletonwitch

Skeletonwitch released a new song called Red Death, White Light. It’s from their forthcoming album, The Apothic Gloom, out on August 2. Check it out here.

The Dead Daisies

This supergroup, the Dead Daisies, are awesome. I haven’t been disappointed yet. This song is called Long Way To Go. It’s from their new album out on August 5th called Make Some Noise. Watch it here.

Peter Gabriel

Peter Gabriel (Genesis) released a song in honor Muhammad Ali. It’s called I’m Amazing and you can hear it here.

Meat Loaf

Meat Loaf collapsed on stage this week in Canada in mid performance. He is in stable condition. He was dehydrated according to sources.

Queensryche

Queensryche made a trailer for their up and coming European tour with dates included. Watch it here.

Black Sabbath

Black Sabbath have announced their final shows. They will be in the city where it all started for them. Feb 2 and 4, 2017, and it will be in Birmingham, UK, at the Genting Arena.

Cruzh

If you’re looking for a new Glam Rock fix, just check out Cruzh. They released their new song, First Cruzh. Their self titled debut album comes out August 5th. Check out the video here.

Thousand Foot Krutch

Thousand Foot Krutch released a new lyric video for their song, Lifeline. It’s from their just released album, Exhale. Check it out here.

Crobot

Crobot released Not For Sale from their soon to be released album, Welcome To Fat City, out on September 23. You can listen to the song here.
