Def Leppard- Man Enough!


This is off of Def Leppard’s current, self titled album. I think it’s pretty cool that they are still writing new music and making videos. This song has a pretty cool groove to it and I think it grows on you over time. I’m sure this song will go over big on tour as well.

Rob Zombie Rob Zombie released another video from his latest album, The Electric Warlock Acid Witch Satanic Orgy Celebration Dispenser. The video is for the song Medication For The Melancholy. Check it out here.

Bush

Bush released a song just for National Refugee Day. The song is called People At War. You can check it out here.

Anthrax

Anthrax released a new lyric video this week for Zero Tolerance. It’s from their current album, For All Kings. Check it out here.

Kiss

Kiss has a Pay Per View event going on through July 14. It’s their Vegas Residency Show that played in theaters last month. It’s $14.95 to watch it. You can get a preview and details here.They will also be releasing Kiss Rocks Vegas on CD/DVD on August 26.

Pareidolia

Fates Warning

Fates Warning released a guitar playthrough video of their new song, White Flag. It features different angles of the song being played out on the guitar. The song will be on their new album, Theories Of Flight, out on July 1. You can watch the video here.

Led Zeppelin

If you are curious how determined Led Zeppelin is about not reuniting, think again. They turned down $14 million dollars to play one night at the Desert Trip Festival.

Jeff Beck

Jeff Beck released a new lyric video for his song, Live In The Dark. It’s from his new album out on July 15. He may be getting older but he still can play. Listen to the song here.

Stryper

Stryper announced their 30th Anniversary tour, To Hell With The Devil. They will also be wearing their famous yellow and black outfits for it. Get dates  here.

Italian rockers, Smokey Fingers, released their first single for their new album, Promised Land, out on September 9. The song is called The Road Is My Home. Check it out here.

ZZ Top And Jeff Beck

ZZ Top streamed Rough Boy featuring Jeff Beck on guitar. It’s from their new live album coming out on August 12 called Greatest Hits Live. Listen to it here.

The Beatles

The Beatles and Ron Howard released the trailer for the soon to be released movie, The Beatles: Eight Days A Week- The Touring Years, out on September 17. It will feature unseen footage. You can watch the trailer here.

 

SRR Quick Hits

Led Zeppelin won their court case vs Randy California (Spirit) for plagiarizing the song Taurus for Stairway To Heaven. Jury voted in their favor. Apparently the chord progression has been around for centuries, but in 1963 a folk group called, The Modern Folk Quartet released, To Catch A Shad. See what you think here.

For the ultimate die hard music lover, there is probably no better way to be remembered than through your music collection, right? Vinyly is going to give you that opportunity. If you get cremated you can turn your ashes into a vinyl record. You can get the details here.

Tool and Puscifer frontman, Maynard James Keenan, has an autobiography coming out on November 8th, titled A Perfect Union Of Contrary Things. He released a trailer for it which you can watch here.

If you were a fan of the HBO series, Vinyl, then you’re in sad for news. They canceled it. That being said, tonight on Showtime, they debut a new series called Roadies.
