Guns N’ Roses Guns N’ Roses had a lot of press this week. They announced tour dates and presale info, which you can get here. They have chosen The Cult to open a few select dates, but those haven’t been revealed. The band played a real April Fool’s joke by actually performing at the Troubador in L.A. Many thought they wouldn’t. I was actually surprised to see that they did two songs from Chinese Democracy. Here is some footage from that show here.
Zakk Wylde
Zakk Wylde (Black Label Society/Ozzy) released the official video for his song Sleeping Dogs. It’s from his forthcoming solo album, Book Of Shadows II, out on April 8. You can watch the video here.
Cheap Trick
Cheap Trick, being the class act that they are, is going to perform with Bun E. Carlos during the April 8, Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame Induction Ceremony.
Grateful Dead

David Gilmour (Pink Floyd) released a new video this week called In Any Tongue. It’s from his current album, Rattle That Lock. Watch it here.

Ace Frehley
Ace Frehley (KISS) released his cover of Thin Lizzy’s Emerald, which features Slash and just listen to the solo! Anyway the Origins Vol. 1 comes out April 15. You can listen to the song here.
Royal Blood Royal Blood released a new single this week for the HBO show, Vinyl. The song is called Where Are You Now? It debuts this weekend on the show and is part of the soundtrack for the show. Listen to it here.
Metallica
Metallica are offering a contest to see them perform on April 16 for Record Day, as they are this year’s ambassadors. You can get all the details here.
