Memorial Day Before we begin the news this week, I just wanted to pause for a moment and say thanks and think of those who died for our freedoms this Memorial Day.

The Winery Dogs The Winery Dogs have released a new video for their song Captain Love. It’s from their current album, Hot Streak. Check it out here.

Manowar Manowar announced that they will be embarking on their farewell tour. The dates are starting in Germany. It’s all they have released at this time. Get them here.

Red Hot Chili Peppers

Red Hot Chili Peppers have streamed their title track from their new album, Getaway, out on June 17. You can listen to it here.

Asking Alexandria

Asking Alexandria released a new video for their song, Here I am, from their current album, The Black. You can check it out here.

Corners Of Sanctuary Corners Of Sanctuary’s drummer Sean Nelligan departed from the band and the band announced his replacement, Mad T. You get more details here.

Duff McKagan

Duff McKagan of Guns And Roses is releasing a new documentary based on his book. The film titled, It’s So Easy And Other Lies: Live At The Moore. It will have a limited theatrical release on May 26. Here are two clips from it, one is the trailer for it, which you can see here, the other is when they opened for Motley Crue, in which you can check out here.

Bun E. Carlos Bun E. Carlos (Cheap Trick) released a preview of his solo album with his new song, Do Something Real. The Album is titled Greetings From Bunezuela, out on June 24. Listen to the song here.

Pop Evil

Pop Evil replaced drummer Josh “Chachi” Marunde who left the band with Mcqueen’s Hayley Cramer.

Linkin Park

Linkin Park put out a short video from the studio for making of their seventh album, you can watch here.

Katatonia

The Rolling Stones released a trailer for their upcoming live collection called Totally Stripped, out on June 3rd. You can watch the trailer here.

The Ramones

The Ramones will be releasing a 3CD/1LP deluxe remastered edition that comes out on July 29th. This marks the 40th anniversary of their debut. This is a limited edition numbered release. There will only be 19,760 copies made of it.

Gone Is Gone

The new supergroup, Gone Is Gone, that features Mastodon’s Troy Sanders and Queens Of The Stone Age Troy Van Leeuwen, have released their first video called Starlight. Their self titled debut album will be released on July 8. Check out the video here.

Paul McCartney

Paul McCartney is releasing a six part series called Pure McCartney VR. You can watch the first one about the song, Coming Up, here.

Dokken

It has been confirmed that the Dokken reunion is going to happen in Japan and a DVD will follow. Depending on how those dates go, they may consider a tour.

Dead Daisies

Dead Daisies released a teaser video of their soon to be released album, Make Some Noise, out on August 5th. Watch the trailer here.

Crash Midnight

SRR Quick Hits

The Discovery Channel has a new show starting July 9, called Hello World! It is six episodes long. Each week famous musicians narrate facts about the animals, etc, in their environment, and two such musicians scheduled to appear are Steven Tyler and Joan Jett.

Sex Pistols guitarist Steven Jones will be publishing his autobiography on November 17. It is called, Lonely Boy.
