Bruce Springsteen will be releasing a new album on January 14 called High Hopes. This is the title track featuring Tom Morello ( I believe he does most of the tracks on the record). Watch it here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rOPDhoZH91g

Queensryche (the Todd La Torre version) just released a mini film called As Lucern. It utilizes tracks from their recently released self titled EP. You can watch it here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M_34YZaER70
In the I can’t believe that someone would pay for this department. Neal Schon of Journey and Michaele Salahi (the White House party crasher, remember that!) are getting married. But wait there is more. You can pay $14.95 to watch the marriage take place all before a Journey concert in San Francisco. It is going to be called Neal & Michaele: The Winter Wonderland Wedding And Music Event. It will also have other musical guests performing. Some proceeds will go to help the Philippines. The event will take place on December 15. I think they may be over stating the band’s popularity at this point. Maybe, just maybe, Steven Perry was onto something when he left.
Here is band I think is worth checking out. I have mentioned them before. The band is called Silvertung. They released a new single called Coming Alive. It’s from their debut record called Devil’s In The Details. Watch it here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uENXVtrsv9U
Cheap Trick announced more tour dates starting February. You can get them here: http://www.cheaptrick.com/tour-dates
Last week’s Rockucation question was: Can you name four bands that Rudy Sarzo has been in? Now there were a lot of good guesses but no one got at least four, which I found surprising. The answers could have been any of these: Quiet Riot, Ozzy Osbourne, Blue Oyster Cult, Dio, Whitesnake, Yngwie Malmsteen, Animetal USA and he is currently touring with the Geoff Tate version of Queensryche.
If you are going to catch Metallica on their 2014 European tour, you will have the opportunity to vote on the setlist. Metallica will debut a new song on the tour. The band says they usually play 18 songs a night. They picked to add the new one, leaving the fans a chance to vote for 17 of the other songs. When you buy your tickets, you will get an email that links you to a site to cast your vote for the songs you want to see them play. I think that is pretty cool idea and more bands should do something like this.
In cased you missed it department: Jon Bon Jovi is looking into purchasing the Buffalo Bills of the NFL. You can read more about it here: http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/writer/jason-la-canfora/24275196/jon-bon-jovi-interested-in-purchasing-the-buffalo-bills
