Here is a PSA for you. Bob Dylan is going to do an album of all Frank Sinatra songs next year. Prepare for Sinatra to roll in his grave and the rest of the world to be tortured. I doubt that I will be presently surprised, I’m just surprised he was allowed to ruin those songs.

Monster Energy has announced their line up so far for their Welcome To Rockville, in Jacksonville, FL. I won’t list all the bands but you can watch the trailer and it looks to be awesome!

Uriah Heep will be releasing their CD/DVD set called Live At Koko. It will be out on February 20th.

New super group Revolution Saints (who sound a lot like Journey) released their debut song, Turn Back Time. You can watch it here:

Last week’s Rockucation question was: This guitarist in the only musician to be inducted three times, in the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame. He was inducted with two bands and as a solo artist. Who is he and what two bands was he in? The answer comes to us from Chuck Dressler from Warwick, RI. The Answer is Eric Clapton, for the Yardbirds and Cream, as well as himself as a solo artist.

Judas Priest’s 1984 album Defenders Of The Faith will have its 30th anniversary release on March 9th. It will be remastered and include a DVD and CD bonus called Live At Long Beach California, May 5, 1984.

HIM are re-releasing their early albums in a box set. It comes out on December 23. It’s called Ashes To Lashes, Lust To Dust 1996 – 2003. You can watch the trailer for it with all details here:

So I came across this the other day and I didn’t realize they did this at the time. There was a group called Tab The Band, who I saw open for Slash. I liked them, but hadn’t heard from them as of late and it’s because they changed their name to Dead Boots, and you can check them out here:

Rush fans should be excited. The band is releasing reissues of their 14 albums while they were with Mercury Records. The first one being Fly By Night out on January 27. The band is releasing them as Hi-Def Audio throughout the year.
