Anyone who knows me, knows that I love this band. The fact that they put out another video just makes me wish they were touring in my area right now. That being said, this is one of my favorite songs by them and the video does it justice. Even more exciting is the fact that they are going to record a new album. This one is from their Bomb Shelter Sessions record and if you don’t own it, you should. These guys are incredible!
Posted by Aerosmith, they are selling used equipment. Details are here: “We are doing an end of year cleaning here at Pandora’s Box and to make a little room the guys have decided to part with some of their road cases that have been used on tour for the last 25 years or so. All of the cases show extensive road wear and would be a one of a kind collectors item. The cases come in all shapes and sizes and have the Aerosmith logo stenciled on them. These are the real deal. Here’s the deal! Be at the bands warehouse Saturday, December 28th at 10:00am. It’s located at 155 Webster Street Suite J, Hanover, MA. Only the cases will be available in the warehouse at this time. SERIOUS BUYERS ONLY PLEASE! This will be a first come first serve kind of thang. For questions please email us at vindaloomusicinc@gmail.com.

They plan to release their debut in the Spring of 2014.
Dave Ellefson (Megadeth) and Frank Bello (Anthrax) have released an EP called Altitudes and Attitude.

Good news for Spotify listeners like myself. Led Zeppelin made a deal to have their albums put on it. Okay, so there was a movie called Blackfish, that was apparently (I haven’t seen it) showing how bad Seaworld treats the fish and now both rock and country acts are canceling shows there. I understand they want to bring awareness to it. Has there been any other investigative reporting done? It doesn’t seem so. Would the government allow this? But if you think that it’s really going to change all the people who go there to be entertained by them, stop. Think again. You may get a few but not enough to make the place close. But everyday this week someone canceled but it was okay before. First it was Heart, then Cheap Trick, then Will Nelson then, Trisha Yearwood and now REO Speedwagon. It’s like saying you won’t go to the grocery store because they sell veal and how the poor calves are treated. I’m not for abuse or anything but this seems like it’s getting out of hand. Not to mention, none of these artists could sell out a 10,000 seat arena. Maybe if Metallica or U2 backed out that would get the attention they are looking for. Okay, that’s my rant on it. I’m done.

Here is something hot off the presses. Please check out this band and what they have to offer. Great sound, by the way. Let me know what you think Former members of 24-7 SPYZ / CAGE / TOURNIQUET Unveil New Band: SEVENTRAIN
The San Diego, CA locals want to bring back that big rock sound with their hard-hitting, blues-based metal band Seventrain which features former Cage guitarist Eric Horton, drummer Joel Maitoza (24-7 Spyz, Shockhead), guitarist Jef Poremba (6ONE9, Coffi Baker…yes, Ginger Baker’s son), vocalist Jon Campos (Dive Bomber), and bassist Greg Rupp who appeared on the album, but was recently replaced by Steve (Dino) Andino (Tourniquet).
The band has been in the recording studio over the past several months with engineer Don Lithgow (Blink 182, Finch, New Found Glory) and is getting ready to release their self-titled debut album in the US and Europe in early 2014.
Drummer/Producer, Joel Maitoza, who is best known for his work with the New York based Heavy Metal Soul group 24-7 Spyz states, “It was a blast to just get back into the studio again with a bunch of old friends and bash out some tunes that replicates the music we all grew up on during the 80s and 90s. Just raw, stripped down, in your face, hard rock lovingly tracked in analog on 2 inch tape.”
