Just my two cents, I can think of at least 50 acts that I would rather see than Beyonce at the Super Bowl half time show.

You may remember that I told you about a new super group, S.U.N. (Something Unto Nothing). This band features Brian Tichy (who just left Whitesnake), Sass Jordan (Canadian Singer), Michael Devin (Whitesnake) and Tommy Stewart (Godsmack). Their debut comes out February 12. Sebastian Bach (Skid Row) has announced that he is recording his next record with John 5 (Marilyn Manson) and Steve Stevens (Billy Idol) on guitar and expects it to rock harder than his latest Kickin’ and Screaming.

Last week’s Rockucation question was: This song was a B-side filler for Pearl Jam‘s Jeremy. It was recorded as outtake off of their Ten album. It didn’t show up on a record until Lost Dogs. Just in case you thought Sully Erna of Godsmack is leaving them, or if you heard rumors of such, well that’s just what they are, rumors. He isn’t leaving. He has done this in the past. Godsmack will be back.

There will be a massive Duane Allman box set coming out on March 5th. It is called Duane Allman Retrospective. It features over 100 songs.

Yngwie Malmsteen’s official biography comes out on May 21st. It’s called Relentless: The Memoir.

Adenaline Mob are going to be releasing a covers album called Coverta. I don’t support the idea but yet we have another group who wants to do this instead of something original.

Sammy Hagar is in the studio with the Wabos and plans to tour after the release of their record.

Killswitch Engage will release their new record on April 2. It’s titled Disarm The Descent.

Rob Zombie will be releasing a new studio album called: Venomous Rat Regeneration Vendor. The first single will be Dead City Radio And The News Gods Of Super Town. He also is doing a cover of Grand Funk Railroad’s We’re An American Band. It comes out April 23.

Kingdom Come will have a new album out in April called Outlier. You may remember they had the hit Get It On. Also they were compared to Led Zeppelin.

If you actually like Noel Gallagher (Oasis) he is releasing a live DVD called High Flying Birds called International Magic Live At The 02. It comes out Feb. 16.

Don Henley has a new solo album coming out in May. It’s called Cass County based on the town he was born in. He will have lots of guests on it and it leans towards country.
