In a recent interview, Geezer Butler stated that the initial name for the new record was 13, because they were going to do 13 tracks for it, but instead they recorded 16, so they aren’t sure if the album title is going to stick. He went on to say, it’s the first time they all did a record sober. Finally Gezeer said it sounds similar to the first three Black Sabbath record. I hope that’s the case. How awesome would that be?

Here is an interesting update on the Station Memorial Fund/Jack Russell Great White drama that has been taking place lately. Ty Longley (The Great White guitarist who died in the fire) son Acey, will be receiving some of the money from the charity concert to apply it to the BEATS charity. BEATS stands for Bringing Everyone A Tremendous Smile. It brings things like Itunes cards, Legos etc for children in hospitals. This is done in memory of his father, whom he never met.
Not sure what to believe, but Joe Elliott of Def Leppard said he doesn’t see a new album in their future, maybe he a couple of tracks out over time. But Phil Collen said they will be writing for a new album while they do their residency in Vegas. Just thought that was interesting. Same band, two different takes. Either way you will get some new Def Leppard.
This weeks Rockucation question is. This song was a B-side filler for Pearl Jam ‘s Jeremy. It was recorded as outtake off of their Ten album. It didn’t show up on a record until Lost Dogs. They play it live. What’s the name of the song?
