Michael Sweet (Stryper) and George Lynch (Dokken, Lynch MOB, and so many others) have formed a new supergroup called Sweet Lynch. They plan on releasing new material and touring on 2015.
Speaking of Michael Sweet, Stryper will be releasing a live DVD/CD called, Live At The Whiskey, on September 23rd.
Last week’s Rockucation question was: What band did Kirk Hammett form before joining Metallica? Also, did he ever record a record with them, if he did which one was it? Chuck Dressler from Warwick, RI, got it right this week. The band was Exodus, though he did record a demo tape with them, he never recorded an album.
