Phil Rudd, drummer of AC/DC, has been sentenced to home confinement for 8 months, for planning a murder and possession of drugs.

Coheed And Cambria released a new song this week called You Got Spirit, Kid. It’s off their soon to be released album, The Color Before The Sun. It will be out on October 9. Check out the song here:

Chris Cornell’s first album is being re-released as he intended it in the first place. The album was released as Euphoria Morning, but what Cornell wanted was Euphoria Mourning. It will be corrected this time for it’s release date of August 14.

Dee Snider released a new song which you can download for free. The new track is called To Hell And Back. Also, AXS TV will be airing the concert on July 19, at 8 pm Eastern. Listen to it here:

In case you are tracking these things and I stated in the past, it would be no surprise, but Jake E. Lee’s Red Dragon Cartel have their fifth new singer, in as many months. His name is Shawn Crosby, maybe he will stick around longer. I’m tempted to start a singer pool for the band.

Lynch Mob released a new track this week. It’s called War. It’s from their new album, Rebel, coming out in August. Listen to it here:

Anthrax will play and headline the last heavy metal show at the House Of Blues on the Sunset Strip in Los Angeles, CA. It’s the last one, because they are tearing it down and building a hotel/venue/retail complex in its place.
