Ok, just for the record, I am not a fan, but many of you are so here is Philip H. Anselmo And The Illegals with their new video for Bedridden (Which I wish they were). Kenny Wayne Shepard’s new super group, The Rides, have announced tour dates. You can get them here;

Queens Of The Stone Age have done an infomercial with Ricky Chism. Check it out here: I had mentioned this would be the way to go in one of my earliest posts. Maybe some of you remember reading or discussing it with me. It makes sense. If you didn’t here is what I posted in my February 12th rock report: Just a thought with the way the music industry is going. If you haven’t noticed as of late, when you go to concerts you can buy the show that night and get it sent to you later. Some bands have a complete set, some have half now, half later and some you have to wait for the entire show. It comes in a cool looking flash drive. That being said, I think that’s what’s going to be the next wave that’s big in the music business. Bands/artists will release flash drives of new material and special surprises and things you can download to get the fans excited. It will be cheaper and easier than trying to market a CD. Mark my words, it’s going to happen. Remember you heard it here first. See maybe I do know what I am talking about!

Last week’s Rockucation question was: What was the name of the song and the comedy team that Geddy Lee of Rush recorded with? The answer comes to us from David Englund of Cranston, RI. The song was Take Off and the comedy team was Bob and Doug McKenzie.

Gene Simmons of Kiss will be doing a duet with Engelbert Humperdinck. It comes out in October. Simmons is one of the many guests which include Kenny Rogers, Smokey Robinson and Neil Sedaka, as well as many others. Go ahead and say it, I thought the same thing, but it is what it is.Winger will have a reunion on their 25th anniversary by playing a show on August 30th at The San Felipe Casino in New Mexico.  Get more info here:

This week’s Rockucation question is: Quiet Riot recorded two cover songs by this band. One of them put Quiet Riot on everyone’s radar. The second one was a hit also. Can you name the two songs and the band they are from?
