Queens Of The Stone Age have done an infomercial with Ricky Chism. Check it out here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=j68kwM9iBJg I had mentioned this would be the way to go in one of my earliest posts. Maybe some of you remember reading or discussing it with me. It makes sense. If you didn’t here is what I posted in my February 12th rock report: Just a thought with the way the music industry is going. If you haven’t noticed as of late, when you go to concerts you can buy the show that night and get it sent to you later. Some bands have a complete set, some have half now, half later and some you have to wait for the entire show. It comes in a cool looking flash drive. That being said, I think that’s what’s going to be the next wave that’s big in the music business. Bands/artists will release flash drives of new material and special surprises and things you can download to get the fans excited. It will be cheaper and easier than trying to market a CD. Mark my words, it’s going to happen. Remember you heard it here first. See maybe I do know what I am talking about!
