The Decline Of The Western Civilization will be coming out in deluxe form on June 30. You might recall that it was quite the documentary back in the 80s. It gets all the bonus treatment since it’s a deluxe 4 DVD box set.

Rush have a new book out this week. It’s called The Art Of Rush. It’s full of the band’s 40 year history and is 272 pages in coffee table book form.

Since Sharon announced it, Black Sabbath confirmed that the dates for their Farewell shows, which are November 21 and 22, in Japan at the Ozzfest. They also asked Bill Ward to come and perform it. He hasn’t accepted yet.

Chris Adler from Lamb Of God is recording with Megadeth. Most likely he is joining Megadeth.

In case you care, Gene Simmons is now doing horror films. He has teamed up with WWE and has formed Erubus Pictures, the first picture will be called Temple. They begin filming in the summer.

Jake E. Lee’s Red Dragon Cartel lost their bassist this week. Greg Chaisson left the band. The good news is Anthony Esposito (Ace Frehley) has replaced him. It makes you wonder, that like Megadeth, in two weeks time they lose two members. Things that make you go hmmm….
