Music News For The Week Of March 30, 2014!

Zakk Wylde has been doing some great stuff as of late with his band Black Label Society. They released a new video for My Time Of Dying from their album coming out on April 6th called Catacombs Of The Black Vatican.  I can’t wait to hear the album. Everything I heard up to this point has been fantastic. This video is pretty cool, too! The guitar solo, as always, is solid. Zakk knows how to deliver.

Check out Sevendust’s Black audio from their soon to be released album, Time Travelers And Bonfires, this month. It’s an all acoustic album. You can listen to Black here: http://www.reverendphantom.com/2012/11/what-if-kiss-solo-albums-never-happened.html

KISS won’t be performing that night but all members past and present (save Vinnie Vincent, they can’t find him), will sit together. That will be a fun table. But KISS will be playing on The Jimmy Fallon Show the next night on the 11th (not the original line up but the current one).

Last week’s Rockucation question was:  This drummer came from behind the kit, to front the band he was in after the singer left. He also played drums, recorded and toured with Eric Clapton and Robert Plant. He did all this and many other projects, while also having a successful solo career as well. What is his name and what band was he in? This answer comes to us from Rich Aubin of Jackson, NJ and it is Phil Collins of Genesis.
