Last week’s Rockucation question was: Can you name at least 5 bands or artists (Rock and Metal only) that came from Massachusetts? I have to say I was surprised that no one came up with 5 bands. Most of you had 4 and maybe a local act. But here are a few, just so you are in the know. Aerosmith, Boston, Cars, Dispatch, Dropkick Murphy’s, Extreme, The Fools, Godsmack, J. Geils Band, Jon Butcher Axis, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, The Pixies, Rev Theory, Staind and many more.

New Megadeth: Built For War. Another great track. You can listen to it here: http://www.grammy.com/news/grammycom-exclusive-first-listen-megadeth

Eden is a band that’s apparently up and coming. You can check out one of their videos here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lMg-T_1HAVg

As I Lay Dying’s singer, Tim Lambeses has posted his $2 million dollar bail and is out of jail (he did serve 3 weeks so far). His next court date is June 26. He was arrested for allegedly hiring a hit man to kill his wife.

In case you missed it, Paul Bostach is back in Slayer as their drummer and David Lombardo is officially out of the band.

This week’s Rockucation question is: What song did Neil Young sing that offended Lynyrd Skynyrd and name the song that they made a point to say it.
