Music News For The Week Of October 1, 2013!

This is the new Winery Dogs song Time Machine. As I stated before, if you haven’t bought their new record, you should. They just announced a tour of the U.S., you can get the dates here:

William Shatner is releasing a record on October 8th called Ponder The Mystery. The reason it is mentioned on these pages is because he has many guests on it like Rick Wakeman, Steve Vai, Al Di Meola, Robby Krieger of the Doors, Vince Gill, Mick Jones, George Duke, Dave Koz and Edgar Winter.

There is a KISS Documentary being made as we speak.  It is called You Wanted The Best, You Got The Best. Apparently Ace and Peter refused to be part of it but Tommy Thayer was able to produce lots of footage to Director Alan G. Parker. He had archived it from when they were together for something similar at the time they were in the band. No release date yet.

Black Sabbath released another video teaser for the Gathered In Their Masses DVD. You can watch it here:

In the I hope it crashes and burns department, Scott Stapp (vocals, Creed) will be releasing a solo album in November. Everyone should want this one to bomb and that the rest of Creed realizes that Alter Bridge is the only band that matters.  The album is called Proof Of Life. Let’s show proof he does not exist. That being said he does have a single streaming online but you will have to go find it…..

Last week’s Rockucation question was: What musician did the cameo in Tenacious D: Pick Of Destiny? He played the devil behind the 666 drum kit? The answer comes to us this week from Ace Aceto of Coventry, RI. The answer is David Grohl.
