Last week I asked you to be the judge and gave you my thoughts on this case: if Led Zep stole this from Spirit. If you remember the sax solo on the song Baker Street, by Gerry Rafferty, than you know who Raphael Ravenscroft is. He passed this week at the age of 60. They think it was a heart attack.

Jack Bruce of Cream fame, passed away this weekend at the age of 71. Word is liver disease. The legendary bass player influenced many a player and will be missed in the world of rock! RIP, Jack Bruce!
In other Cream news, they announced this week that they are releasing a 6 LP Vinyl box set. It will be titled: Cream: 1966-1972, it comes out on November 24th.

Another super group has been made. Are you tired of that term yet? Any way this one features Jack Blades, like that’s a surprise (Night Ranger, Damn Yankees), Doug Aldrich (Whitesnake), and Deen Castronovo (Journey, Ozzy). They are calling themselves Revolution Saints and already have their debut recorded and plan on releasing their album in 2015.

In case you missed it, Primus drummer Tim “Herb” Alexander is back in the lineup after open heart surgery. His first gig was the Philadelphia show.
Seventrain is working on their second album. Guitarist Eric Horton says, “This next album of material is going to be much heavier than the first record. I’m excited to see where the writing process takes us since some of the other members in the band have been contributing various ideas.
