Ok, the trailer for the movie about the CBGB club is out. Now this is not like that terrible movie Rock Of Ages, this is a true story. A historic club that put many bands on the map. KISS has just hired Alan Parker to do a definitive documentary about the band and its history. I know, we all heard it before, but let’s see if Parker goes beyond Paul and Gene’s version of KISS events and goes and speaks to all the members of the band, past and present, that are still alive. The name of the documentary is You Wanted The Best You Got The Best. It just started filming in NY. No release date out yet.

Humble Pie’s Rockin’ The Fillmore will be coming out as a 4 disc set on October 29. Peter Frampton and Jerry Shirley oversaw the production. It is recordings over the two-night performance at the Fillmore (5/28 /71 and 5/29/71).
