Last week’s Rockucation question was: Who was the original singer for Iron Maiden? Many of you guessed Paul Di’ Anno. He was the first singer to record with them. But the original singer was Paul Day. He was fired because of a lack of charisma.

Ace Frehley commented that he will be releasing a covers album next year and you know how much I love those. Anyway, it will feature Slash, Lita Ford, Mike McCready and many more.  His new album, Space Invader will be out August 19 and he will be on the Tonight Show, sitting in with the Roots (house band)  band all night on Tuesday August 12.

The Grateful Dead are releasing 8 previously unreleased shows next month. Spring 1990 (The Other One) is a companion to their Spring 1990 box set. It also contains the Nassau Coliseum show with Branford Marsalis and it is to be a 23 disc box set.
