Noel Gallagher’s (Oasis) High Flying Birds has released a new single from his just released box set “Back The Way We Came: Vol 1 (2011-2021)”. You can get a copy here. The band has released an acoustic version of the song The Dying Of The Light.

The song first appeared on their 2009 album “Chasing Yesterday”. The original version had Tom Petty vibe to it, I have to say I love this version. When Gallagher plays acoustic I find it almost magical. Acoustically he hasn’t failed me yet. I think the words and emotion take on a deeper feeling than the original. You can tell me if I’m wrong.
