Phil Campbell Has Released His First Solo Single “These Old Boots” Featuring An All Star

Phil Campbell (Phi Campbell & The Bastard Sons, Motorhead) has released his first solo single. It’s from his forthcoming album “Old Lions Still Roar”. Out on October 25th, you can pre-order it here. The new single, These Old Boots features Dee Snider (Twisted Sister) on vocals, Mick Mars (Motley Crue) on guitar, Chris Fehn (Slipknot) on drums and Campbell himself playing bass and guitar. I think when you first hear the riff you automatically think AC/DC. Other than that Snider’s voice still kicks ass and well it’s nice to see Mars make an appearance and rocking it. Overall, I think the song is high energy and raw. The unexpected collaboration sounds damn good together. The video is animated and shows the band playing and the two boots starring it.
