Clay Howard-Too Many People!
The more I listen to Howard the more I like him, maybe it’s the 70’s sounding guitar solos. Could be his lyrics are catchy, I haven’t quite figured it out yet, but I know I always want to hear more of this guy. I guess you can say I am infatuated with his songs. Like I said, to me they echo the seventies and maybe that’s what I’m craving and he just gave me what I needed. This song is from his just released album, I’ll Give You Something To Cry About. Check him out for yourself and of course learn more about him here.
Rockucation
Last week’s Rockucation question: These musicians all were a part of this band at one time or another, Mick Taylor, Jack Bruce, Eric Clapton, Peter Green, Andy Fraser, Walter Trout and Mick Fleetwood, to name a few, what band was it?
What band as it? Answer: John Mayall Blues Breakers
Winner/s: Ron Larriviere, North Providence, RI.
This week’s Rockucation question is: This band based its name from the bible, in Genesis where Cain kills his brother Abel. The band isn’t religious, but the lead singer learned this when he was attending a Catholic School. What is the name of the band?
Answer Question Here Think you know this music question? Take a guess by clicking the link above! If you answer it correctly, your name will be featured in next week’s Rockucation section.
