The Rolling Stones-Hate To See You Go!

I love this cover of Little Walter. I am so looking forward to this album. I am not a huge fan of covers, but this is what rock was built on and The Rolling Stones are going back to what started it for them. Very fitting, as at this time, they have nothing left to prove, but having a great time playing music. The new album, Blues & Lonesome comes out December 2.

Rockucation

Last week’s Rockucation question: This three piece band, originally wanted Mitch Mitchell as their drummer, but they went with the drummer from Atomic Rooster. Rumor had it that they were going to hire Jimi Hendrix, but he died before they could have him audition. It would have changed the band name forever. What is the band and what would have it been called if he did join?

What is the band and what would have it been called if he did join. ? Answer: E.L.P. (Emerson, Lake And Palmer) with Hendrix they would have been called H.E.L.P.

Winner/s: Phyllis Bourque, Pawtucket, RI, and Darryl Sampson, Kingston, MA.

This week’s Rockucation question is:  David Bowie’s songs Hallo Spaceboy, Ashes To Ashes and Space Oddity have one fictional character that appears in all three songs, who is it?

Answer Question Here Think you know this music question? Take a guess by clicking the link above! If you answer it correctly, your name will be featured in next week’s Rockucation section.
