Rockucation Question This Week Of July 18th, 2021!

Last Week’s Rockucation Question:

This singer and flute player, fronted a very successful band in 1975 to embark on a solo career. He was replaced by the drummer of that band. He is known for taking theatrical rock to another level while in his former group. He is a political activist and humanitarian. He also won the Nobel Peace Prize in 2006. In 2008 he was one of Time magazine’s 100 most influential people of the year. At one time his 1987 video/single was the most played in MTV’s history earning him several MTV awards. He was inducted in the Rock Hall Of A fame in 2010 with his former group and as a solo artist in 2014. What band was he in and who is the singer?

Genesis, Peter Gabriel. I need to correct that Gabriel didn’t win a Nobel Peace Prize, but the Laureates gave him the Man Of Peace award 2006. Thank you, Mike Read, Larkhill, UK.

Mike Read, Larkhill, UK, Mark Hensel, Dallas, TX, Ron Lariviere, North Providence, RI and Nina McCarthy, Westerly, RI.

This week’s Rockucation question is:

This shock rocker fought off his demons and became a born again Christian. His father was a preacher. He has weekly bible studies even while he tours. While religious, he states that there is nothing in the bible that says he can’t do what he does, which is bringing horror to the concert stage. He also has a radio show and is well known celebrity golfer. Who is he?
