Sidemen: Long Road To Glory – Blues Music Documentary

We are in the final countdown to get this blues documentary released. I am asking everyone who reads the SRR to consider making a donation. You can do that at the film’s Kickstarter page here. The campaign is so close to seeing the light of day. You can get some great items, depending on how much you donate. You get to help a great film get its release and get something in return. How cool is that? I feel strongly about this one and I personally gave as well.

The Sidemen, Pinetop Perkins (piano), Willie “Big Eyes” Smith (drummer), and Hubert Sumlin (guitar), played with Muddy Waters and Howlin’ Wolf. These guys are legends. You will hear some of the last interviews with these men. If you want to know the roots of rock and roll, then you need to help get this released.

This documentary needs to come to fruition. Rock and Blues fans alike, need to hear their story. In my opinion, there wouldn’t be a British Invasion without them.
