The Black Crowes Releases Their Version Of John Lennon’s “Jealous Guy” From 1990!
The Black Crowes will be releasing a 30th anniversary reissue of their debut album “Shake Your Money Maker”. Due out on February 26th, 2021. It will have various deluxe packages which you can pre-order here. The band has given us another unreleased track for this forthcoming release. This one is a cover of John Lennon’s (The Beatles) classic single Jealous Guy. I really like this version. They definitely put their stamp on it. The original is much slower and softer versus this one.
This version also seems to have some depth to it and a much fuller sound to it. Chris Robinson’s voice is magical in the delivery of his take on this. I can listen to this track all day. I think you will be surprised by how good it is. There is no video of the song just a stream of the track. Check it out below.
