Uriah Heep Releases “Take Away My Soul”, And It’s Damn Good!
Uriah Heep have a new album coming out on September 14th called “Living The Dream”. You can pre-order the collector’s box set here.. The new single Take Away My Soul is a progressive rockers dream. Very rarely do I ever speak about how good the keyboards are in a song, but Phil Lanzon does excellent work here. Bernie Shaw’s vocals are superb as well. He really delivers the lyrics in a way that just pulls you in. The song is just over six minutes long. Now you might think the song couldn’t get better, you would be wrong. Mick Box guitar solo kicks in and takes the music to another level. The song is a fresh take on a seventies sound, which I really like. The video for the song is interesting, at least it keeps you watching. Check it out below.
